Your Role as a Roofing Franchisee

Lead. Quote. Deliver. Grow.

A Total Cladding and Roofing franchise isn’t about swinging a hammer — it’s about running a real business. As a franchisee, your role is to lead operations, quote professionally, and deliver high-quality work through trusted subcontractors.

You don’t need to be on the tools every day (though you can be if you prefer). The key is having the construction knowledge and commercial mindset to manage projects, win work, and build a reputation in your territory.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

Managing Leads & Site Visits

You’ll respond to incoming enquiries, qualify leads, and visit commercial sites to scope out the work. These jobs often come from landlords, property managers, or facilities teams — and they need to be handled professionally.

Quoting and Winning Work

We give you estimating tools and templates to build accurate, detailed quotes. You’ll walk clients through proposals and follow up to secure the job.

Project Management

You’ll coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and timelines. Jobs typically run for a few days to a few weeks, and you’ll oversee quality, safety, and communication.

Growing Your Business

As your reputation builds, you’ll start getting referrals and repeat work. You can scale at your own pace, bringing on admin or site support when you’re ready.

What You’re Not Doing

✘ Cold calling every day — we generate inbound leads for you
✘ Competing on price with local “cowboys” — this is a quality-first brand
✘ Wasting time with small domestic repairs — we focus on commercial jobs with proper margins

Who Succeeds in This Role?

You’ll do well if you’re:

  • Experienced in roofing, cladding, or construction management

  • Confident handling quotes, clients, and subcontractors

  • Organised, ambitious, and serious about growing a business

  • Comfortable with tech (email, CRM, quote tools, etc.)

This model suits both owner-operators and those who want to build a manager-led business over time. We’ll help you grow either way.

Support Is Always On Hand

You’re never alone. Whether you’re dealing with a complex quote, chasing a supplier, or unsure how to handle a client — we’re here. Our support line is always open, and we regularly review your progress with you.

“Think of us as your back office support, industry and estimating experts, marketing department, and operations coach — all in one.”

Roofing and cladding together

We can coordinate roof, insulation, wall panel and drainage work, including the connections where separate repairs can leave problems behind.

A plan for your working building

We agree access, work areas and protection with your site team, including any restrictions needed while the roof is opened.
