This five-page application guideline sets out the procedure for applying the Envir-O-Sil roof restoration system over smooth and gravel built-up roofs. The header marks the guideline as last revised 9/18/25. The general part requires American WeatherStar approval of each job before work begins, and states that the manufacturer’s warranty application procedures must be followed.

The product section lists Silicone Brush Grade 422, High Solids Silicone 412, Acrylic Bonding Primer 905, non-fibered asphalt emulsion, EcoCleaner 925, spunbound polyester fabric and Terminator 622, each with its printed type and properties. Silicone Brush Grade 422 is listed at 96% volume solids with a tolerance of plus or minus 3.

Installation covers surface preparation with pressure washing at a minimum of 3,000 psi, removal of gravel by spudding on gravel roofs, and a flood coat and primer stage. Smooth built-up roofs with moderate to severe alligatoring take up to 4 gallons of asphalt emulsion per 100 square feet. Gravel roofs take the emulsion in multiple passes at 4 gallons per 100 square feet, with 1 to 7 days between passes and 7 to 14 days after the last pass.
