This one-page data sheet covers Fabric Bond 930, a water-based bonding agent used to secure polyester fabric to roof surfaces. The sheet is numbered PDS-041421. It says the product seals asphaltic surfaces with little or no bleed-through, and that it must be top coated with an American WeatherStar top coat.

The sheet lists uses as a primer over asphalt, concrete, wood, tile, metal and most clean, dry, non-silicone surfaces, and for installing fabric before the top coat. The technical data gives 44% plus or minus 2% solids by volume, a viscosity of 600 to 800 cps and a weight of 8.38 pounds per gallon. The product is blue, has no listed flash point, a service temperature range of -40°F to 200°F and 5-gallon packaging.

Application is by airless sprayer at 2,000 psi and 2 gpm with a #027 to #031 tip, or by brush or roller. Older coatings may need pressure washing, and surfaces must be clean and dry. The sheet says not to apply within two hours of sunset, during rain or fog, or at freezing temperatures. The minimum application temperature is 50°F, and the dry time is 2 to 12 hours.
