The system quick specification summarizes the Foam-Gard spray polyurethane foam roof coating system in a two-page PDF. Its sections show the layers in sequence: surface preparation, spray polyurethane foam, elastomeric roof coatings, and roofing granules broadcast into the top coat. The suitable substrates are built-up roofs, concrete, EPDM, metal, modified bitumen and single-ply membranes.

The installation tips cover an adhesion test on the Aromatic Urethane 520 base coat, pressure washing at 3000 to 4000 psi, a foam thickness of 1 to 1.5 inches or more if specified, and 24 hours between coating applications. The storage range for unopened components is 50°F to 75°F.

A technical data table lists the acrylic, silicone, urethane, urethane hybrid and urethane-silicone systems by warranty term. It gives the base, intermediate and top coats and the total dry film thickness in mils, from 20 to 45. A second set of tables gives solids by volume, elongation, tensile strength and reflectivity for Acrylic 211, High-Tensile Acrylic 211, Silicone 410, High-Solids Silicone 412, Aliphatic Urethane 510 and Aromatic Urethane 520.
