Document record
The four-page application guideline covers the Met-A-Gard roof restoration system over metal roof surfaces. The last revision shown is 04/14/26.
Part 2 lists the materials. Acrylic 211 is a solar reflective coating at 4500 cps viscosity, 233 ± 20% elongation, 273 ± 20 psi tensile strength and 55 ± 2% volume solids, in white, gray and tan. Acrylic Butter-Grade 221 is a flashing-grade brushable caulk at 90,000 ± 10,000 cps, 200% elongation and 325 psi. Acrylic Brush-Grade 220 is a high-solids elastomeric sealant at 315% elongation and 500 psi. Red Oxide Rust Prime 912, polyester fabric and ECOCLEANER 925 complete the list.
The warranty section ties the NDL warranty to panels attached with gasketed threaded fasteners installed directly into metal purlins. Attachment into wood substrates, or with nails or non-approved fastening methods, is not eligible for NDL coverage, and material-only coverage applies where Technical Services accepts a non-approved method. Part 3 requires new galvanized metal to cure for 90 days or be treated with an approved surface conditioner, and it states that hidden rust between panels cannot be mitigated by a coating system.
