The five-page application guideline covers the Met-A-Gard+ roof restoration system over metal roof surfaces. It carries a last revision of 04/14/26.

Part 2 lists High Tensile Acrylic 211 as a solar reflective coating at 4500 cps viscosity, 600 ± 50% elongation, 500 ± 50 psi tensile strength and 55 ± 2% volume solids, in white, gray and tan. Urethane Brush-Grade 522 is a single-component flashing material at 30,000-40,000 cps, 350 ± 50% elongation, 975 ± 25 psi tensile strength and 69 ± 2% solids, in silver. The list also includes spunbound polyester fabric, Red Oxide Rust Prime 912 and ECOCLEANER 925.

Part 3 requires new galvanized metal to cure for 90 days, or to be treated with an approved surface conditioner, before coating. Residual asphalt is removed with pressure washers, scrapers, wire brushes or wire wheels. Metal panels must be attached with gasketed threaded fasteners installed directly into metal purlins to qualify for an NDL warranty, and panel attachment into wood substrates or with nails is not eligible for NDL coverage.
