The five-page application guideline covers the Met-A-Sil roof restoration system over metal roof surfaces. Its last revision date is 04/14/26.

Part 2 lists Silicone 410 as a UV resistant elastomeric coating at 6000 ± 1000 cps viscosity, 318% elongation, 500 psi tensile strength and 69 ± 2% volume solids, in white, gray and tan. High Solids Silicone 412 is listed at 170 ± 25% elongation, 450 ± 50 psi and 92 ± 2% solids. Red Oxide Rust Prime 912, Urethane Brush Grade 522 (silver, 350 ± 50% elongation), Silicone Brush Grade 422 (white, 130% elongation, 275 psi, 96 ± 2% solids), polyester fabric and ECOCLEANER 925 complete the list.

Part 3 requires new galvanized metal to cure for 90 days, or to be treated with an approved surface conditioner, and it says hidden rust between panels cannot be mitigated by a coating system. Preparation includes pressure washing at a 3,000 psi minimum and treatment of residual asphalt. The warranty terms for metal panels follow the same fastener and purlin conditions as the other metal guidelines.
