This application guideline sets out the procedure for applying the Ure-A-Sil Eco roof restoration system over structural concrete deck roofs and other concrete surfaces. Its header records a last revision on 3/19/24. It runs to five pages, beginning with general requirements, then products and installation.
The product list in this version includes Urethane Brush-Grade 524-CA, Aromatic Urethane 512-CA, High Solids Silicone 412, spunbound polyester fabric and EcoCleaner 925. Each entry gives the printed type, viscosity, elongation, tensile strength, volume solids and color for the coating.
Installation covers surface preparation with pressure washing at a minimum of 3,000 psi, a primer stage with a recommended adhesion test, and a preparation stage for coating. Seams are flashed with Urethane Brush-Grade 524-CA at 50 wet mils, with a minimum dry film thickness of 30 mils. Penetrations take 90 wet mils and a minimum dry film thickness of 60 mils, extended at least 3 inches onto the existing membrane. Parapet walls are flashed to match the seams and flashings.
