Application

The shingles are used on hips and ridges only after the primary roofing shingles are applied to both intersecting roof decks. Special hand-sealed application is required for 110-mph wind resistance. Instructions with diagrams are printed on each bundle, and double-coursing is described for accenting rooflines. They finish hip and ridge lines on asphalt shingle roofing built with the matching field shingles.

The limited warranty against manufacturing defects is concurrent with the warranty of the field shingle it is installed with. Listed warranty terms:

  • Limited warranty: lifetime
  • Algae-resistance warranty: 25 years
  • Wind warranty: 15 years at 110 MPH
