Spanish 18

Spanish 18 is an 18 3/8 inch barrel tile in the Legacy Collection. It has a one-piece barrel design that produces a pattern of ripples across the roof. The surface is smooth, and custom textures are available. The profile suits styles from small bungalows to large public institutions.

The 13 1/4 inch Spanish tile is the alternative for an old European look, and the Mission tiles are the higher profile option. This tile is one of the Spanish clay barrel tile roofs in the range.

• Terminal: a tile installed where hips and ridges intersect.
• Ridge tile: a tile shaped to cover the uppermost horizontal part of the roof.
• Hip starter: a tile installed at the bottom of the hip, also known as a bullnose.
• Closed ridge end: a closed-end tile installed at the gable end of the ridge.
• Hip tile: a tile shaped to cover the external angle formed where two sloped planes meet.

The base texture is smooth. Custom textures include battered butt, brushed butt, heavy machine score and weathered, and are shown in the Terra Cotta Textures brochure.
