This three-page product data sheet covers the GAF EverGuard PVC Fleece-Back membrane. The sheet lists a factory-applied polyester fleece, 10-foot-wide sheets, colors white, gray, tan and energy gray, and guarantees up to 30 years for qualified systems. It states that the fleece gives enhanced puncture resistance against foot traffic, hail and other impacts, and that the membrane does not require a slip sheet over a variety of existing roof systems.
Listed features include high flexibility for difficult contours and curves, protection against chemical exposure, heat-welded seams with positive bleed-out as a visual indication of welding, and weathering and UV resistance tested under ASTM D4434 and G154/155. Fire performance is listed as Class A E108, in which specific assemblies extinguished with the flame source still applied.
Application methods are mechanically attached; adhered with EverGuard WB181 water-based adhesive or hot asphalt; and low-rise foam adhesives LRF Adhesive O, LRF Adhesive M and LRF Adhesive XF, plus OlyBond 500. The CRRC table lists solar reflectance, thermal emittance and SRI in initial and aged values. The white membrane is listed at 0.87 initial solar reflectance and 110 initial SRI, aged to 0.70 and 86.
The physical properties table is based on ASTM D4434 Type III, with overall thickness values of 50, 60 and 80 mil and thickness over scrim of 21, 28 and 36 mil. The accessories list includes coated Speedtite and Hercules drains, corner curb wrap, fluted corner, inside corner, preformed split pipe boot, PVC membrane cleaner, conical vent boot, scupper and T-joint cover patches. The sheet notes that accessory products are not FM Approved or classified by UL.
