This four-page product data sheet covers the GAF EverGuard TPO Fleece-Back membrane in 45, 60 and 80 mil. The sheet describes a factory-applied polyester fleece that gives enhanced puncture resistance against foot traffic, hail and other impacts. It says the membrane does not require a slip sheet when installed over a variety of existing roof systems.
Guarantees are listed by thickness, with coverage up to 30 years for 80 mil on eligible systems. The sheet notes that GAF warranties and guarantees do not cover traffic except where GAF walkways are applied, nor hail or other impact, and that hail or puncture coverage may be purchased for eligible systems.
Installation methods listed are mechanically attached; adhered with EverGuard WB181 water-based bonding adhesive or hot asphalt; and low-rise foam adhesives LRF Adhesive O, LRF Adhesive M, LRF Adhesive XF, and OlyBond 500. The membrane is available with MembraneShield Temporary Dirt-Blocking Film in 60 and 80 mil smooth and in 60 mil fleece-back. The film is designed to be removed after installation or up to 90 days after installation.
The second page gives physical properties under ASTM D6878 for the 45, 60 and 80 mil membranes. The sheet marks the values as approximate, and the table covers thickness, breaking strength, elongation and tear strength. The sheet also refers to prefabricated TPO accessories, including a 6-inch primerless cover tape, a split pourable sealer pocket, a vent boot for 1 to 6 inch pipes, and TPO scuppers.
