This two-page Metl-Span product data sheet covers the BW Stretch System, an insulated metal wall panel system that the sheet describes as a backup wall providing air, water, thermal and vapor protection in one component. It states the system can be installed vertically with several exterior rainscreen types and can span up to 6 feet on center. Widths are 30 and 36 inches, thicknesses are 2, 2¾ and 4 inches, and lengths are 12 or 20 feet vertical. The exterior profile is unembossed G-90 galvanized steel in 22 gauge with an epoxy primer finish. The interior profile is shallow planked, nominal 3/64 inch deep, in 26 gauge G-90 galvanized steel with an epoxy primer finish. The core is foamed-in-place polyisocyanurate, and the joint is double tongue-and-groove. Page 1 gives a K-factor of 0.119 at 35°F and a U-factor and R-value table for the 36-inch width, from 0.063 at 2 inches to 0.034 at 4 inches. Page 2 is a test table. It lists ASTM E84 with flame spread below 25 and smoke developed below 450, NFPA 259, NFPA 285-19 for a representative mockup, CAN/ULC S101, S102 and S134, ASTM E72 with load and span tables, ASTM C518, ASTM C1363, and ASTM E2357 air infiltration of 0.004 cfm per square foot at 1.57 psf.
