Overview

RiftSawn is a Nichiha architectural wall panel (AWP) in the Wood Series. Its face is a full-panel wood-grain surface that shows the ridges and textures of wood, with a darker edge that creates the look of a reveal. RiftSawn is unique in the Wood Series for this full-panel design.

The panel has the appearance of an open joint system with the performance of a closed joint system. It is one of the rainscreen wall panels in Nichiha's range, and matching corners are available. It suits exterior and interior use.

Finishes and colors

RiftSawn has two colors.

  • Chestnut
  • Pecan

Wood Series comparison

The Wood Series lists several plank layouts.

  • VintageWood: three planks, full width of panel
  • RiftSawn: full panel with a darker edge at the top forming a reveal
  • RoughSawn: four planks, consistent heights, staggered horizontally
  • Natura: four planks, varied heights, staggered horizontally

RiftSawn and RoughSawn share a page in the series. The series text calls the pair rustic, with natural wood ridges, grooves and textures at a consistent length. The page photographs RiftSawn in Pecan and Chestnut, next to RoughSawn in Smoke and Illumination in a custom color.
