Applications and design basis
Walls built with EcoScreen Style-Rib include commercial and industrial walls, airport and transportation structures, convention centers, recreational buildings, manufacturing facilities, office buildings and equipment buildings. EcoScreen Style-Rib can be installed horizontally or vertically.
The non-perforated Style-Rib is a separate galvanized steel exposed fastener panel with a nominal 1½ inch rib height.
EcoScreen Style-Rib is specified under MasterFormat 2012 Section 07 42 13.19. The load span table for EcoScreen Style-Rib is based on Allowable Stress Design (ASD), and for LRFD loads section 2.4.1 of ASCE 7-10 applies.
