ModernBrick

ModernBrick is a Nichiha Brick Series architectural wall panel in the color Midnight. It is a new take on a classic brick look, with grout lines and subtle color variation, and it is made for interior or exterior use. The panel has a built-in rainscreen and is one of the Nichiha panels used for commercial rainscreen cladding.

Midnight is the only color listed for ModernBrick. The Brick Series coating is a proprietary multi-layered process. The other Brick Series styles are CanyonBrick in Shale Brown, PlymouthBrick in Crimson, and VintageBrick in Alexandria Buff, White Wash and Classic White.

ModernBrick is hung on clips with hidden fasteners, the method used for every AWP product, so Midnight panels can be mixed with other AWP textures and colors. Ventilation and drainage behind the brick-look face come from the built-in rainscreen. The clip system is listed with a high wind load rating and Miami-Dade County approval, presented as AWP-wide and without a numeric value.

ModernBrick has the same 5/8 inch (16 mm) thickness as PlymouthBrick and CanyonBrick. VintageBrick is 3/4 inch (18 mm) thick. All four brick panels share the AWP 1818 size and 8.88 square feet of exposed coverage per panel. VintageBrick is available in custom colors by special order.
