Overview
Swisspearl Avera is a naturally dried, through-colored fiber cement panel made with a dynamic production process that gives it a natural, authentic texture. The surface is cloudy and naturally varied, with soft transitions in tone rather than a repeated printed pattern.
A highly resistant transparent coating is the standard finish. The coating is listed as making the panels scratch resistant and protecting them from heavy soiling and graffiti. Avera is used as a rainscreen façade board and shares a technical data sheet with Vintago and Reflex. The sheet is headed AC 90 / ASTM 1185 / EN 12467.

Colors and Largo format
- Material: through-colored fiber cement, naturally dried.
- Surface structure: smooth and even.
- Optics: translucent and matte.
- Coating: standard HR (high-resistance) coating, which adds resistance to scratching and weathering and protection against soiling and graffiti.
- Color codes: AV 000, AV 010, AV 020, AV 030, AV 040, AV 050, AV 060, AV 070 and AV 100.

Vapor performance is 0.19 kg/m² s Pa, with a Z-value of 5.21 GPa m² s/kg, Sd of 1.01 m and μ of 651.
Fire and impact performance
Fire classification under EN 13501-1 is A2-s1, d0. ASTM E84 is listed as Class A (does not ignite), and NFPA 285 and ASTM E136 at 750 °C are listed as passed. A note on the sheet says the installation principles determine the classification.
Impact resistance under EAD 090062-01-0404 is reported for the 8 mm and 12 mm boards. Hard-body impact is Category I for both thicknesses, and Category I is also listed for concealed fixation with Signa 8 Pro and for a support batten with no fixation at 300 mm centers in lower levels and high-impact areas. Under the ETB-Guideline (1985), the boards are listed as passed for balconies.
Environmental data and certification
Reported under EN 15804, ISO 14040 and ISO 14044, GWP-total (A1-C4) is 16,7 kgCO₂-eq, with 0,74 biogenic and 16,5 fossil. The manufacturing facility holds ISO 9001 quality management certification, and a Declaration of Performance with CE marking is issued under Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
