Overview
ALUCOBOND PLUS is a flat aluminum composite material made of two sheets of smooth 0.020-inch aluminum thermo-bonded to a solid fire retardant core. It is formable and can be perforated. It is available in all current ALUCOBOND finishes and in custom colors. Uses include exterior and interior cladding, column covers, canopies, soffits and signage.
PLUS is the panel material used in the Dry Reveal, EasyFix and FaceFastened systems. It is made in Benton, Kentucky, USA, from domestic and imported materials. The data sheet is dated 7.2025.
Composition and size
- Aluminum facings on both sides, 0.020 inch nominal.
- Total nominal thickness: 4 mm, including the core.
- Standard coil-coated width: 62 inches. Some finishes are stocked at 40, 49.2 or 50 inches.
- Custom widths of 40 and 50 inches on request.
- Standard coil-coated length: 196 inches. Reflect Mirror is offered at 146 inches.
- Custom coil-coated lengths up to 400 inches; anodized up to 216 inches.
- Nominal weight: 1.56 lb/ft2.

Finishes and colors
The range comprises 91 colors and finishes, with complementary AXCENT colors and finishes. Featured finishes are Magnolia, Serpentine, Rustic Walnut and Sakura. Custom finishes are produced, and a custom Brushed Manhattan finish was used on The Stack project.
Lengths for coil-coated material run to 400 inches, and anodized material to 216 inches.
Bending and temperature
The minimum bending radius without routing the interior skin is 15 times the thickness. For 4 mm material without routing the back skin it is 4 inches. The material withstands temperature changes from -55 F to +180 F. The coefficient of linear expansion is governed by the aluminum sheet.
Section properties
