Ribbed

Ribbed is a Nichiha architectural wall panel (AWP) in the Dimension Series. Its face has nine recessed ribs per panel, which produce recessed reveals and shadow lines. The panel is made for both exterior and interior use and is engineered with a built-in rainscreen.

Ribbed is one of the rainscreen wall panels in Nichiha's range, alongside Novenary in the same series. The series text pairs Ribbed and Novenary for visual interest against smooth surfaces.

Ribbed has two standard colors. Custom colors are available through Color Xpressions, and the series text says Ribbed panels come in virtually any color.

A Ribbed panel weighs 57.3 pounds, or 3.8 pounds per square foot.

AWP 3030 can be installed horizontally or vertically. Horizontal and vertical layouts give the ribs a different direction on the wall.

The Ribbed rainscreen promotes ventilation and drainage behind the panels. The rainscreen cavity is 3/8 in. (10 mm). Ribbed fastens with the Ultimate Clip System and hidden fasteners. Textures and colors can be mixed with other AWP products on one wall without a second installation method, and the clip system has a high wind load rating with Miami-Dade County approval.

Ribbed and Novenary make up the Dimension Series. Novenary is shown in Opal, with terracotta tones named Slate, Sand, Ochre and Clay, and is made in AWP 1818. The Novenary tile size is 5-3/8 inches high by 23-1/4 inches long.
