Dri-Design EN-V A50

Dri-Design EN-V A50 is the 0.050-inch pre-painted aluminum series of the EN-V collection, alongside the A80, G, WS, Z and VS series. It is applied as a commercial rainscreen. A50 differs from the 0.080-inch A80 series in thickness, finish process and module range.

A50 panels are 0.050-inch aluminum. The finish is coil coated, which means the sheet is painted before it is formed. A80 is post-painted.

A50 is made in five sizes, all 16 inches high. The widths are 48, 60, 72, 96 and 120 inches. Flat panel dimensions are centerline to centerline.

The order form names the following standard colors: Rawhide, Sandstone, Slate Blue, Redwood, Boysenberry, Mission Red, Bone White, Sierra Tan, Hartford Green, Ascot White, Hemlock Green, Forest Green, Charcoal Gray, Classic Bronze, Black, Rocky Gray, Medium Bronze, Regal Blue, Chocolate Brown, Teal, Concord Cream, Slate Gray, Patina Green, Dove Gray and Siam Blue.

Brite Red, Silversmith and Titanium carry an asterisk on the form, which marks them as the additional finishes.

A50 has a 1/2-inch horizontal joint and a 5/8-inch vertical joint. The layouts on the order form are horizontal panel stacked, 1/4 vertical joint stagger, 1/2 vertical joint stagger and 1/2 horizontal joint stagger. Reveal options are staggered or aligned.

A50 trim is formed sheet, unlike the extruded trim of A80. The form lists a 10-foot large J channel trim and a 10-foot corner trim. A flat sheet of 48 inches by 120 inches by 0.050 inch is offered, painted on one side.

Production of A50 panels starts only after the EN-V order form is filled out in its entirety. The signed proposal, terms of sale and purchase order must correspond with the quantities, sizes and dollar amount on the form. Orders ship by LTL freight or dedicated box truck, and the form asks for profiles to be provided for EN-V trim.

A80 is the 0.080-inch aluminum series of the EN-V collection. It is offered in 21 sizes and uses extruded J channel and corner trim, and outside formed corner panels are available for A80 in custom sizes with a 90 degree bend angle. A50 has 5 sizes, formed-sheet trim and a coil-coated finish.
