Overview
Dri-Design
Dri-Design is a manufacturer of architectural metal wall panel systems. The company is located in Holland, Michigan, and its panels are sold under the name Dri-Design by Kingspan. Kingspan is the parent company, and Dri-Design takes part in Kingspan’s Planet Passionate sustainability program.
The product range is organized into collections. The AR-C collection is the current name for the original Dri-Design collection and includes painted aluminum, anodized aluminum, Shadow Series, Tapered Series, perforated, textured and embossed options. The EN-V collection provides defined module offerings in aluminum, steel and zinc, and its library records include EN-V VS, EN-V Z Series, EN-V WS Series, EN-V G Series, EN-V A50 and EN-V A80. The MA-X collection consists of large-format aluminum panels, and its library records include MA-X Shadow Series, MA-X VS Vertical Series, MA-X M80 and MA-X M63. The Bellara collection uses steel planks with a wood-look finish.
Perforated panels, perforated imaging and perforated screen systems have separate product records in the library because their construction and use differ from the standard panels. The library also holds records for VMZINC, Embossed, Textured, Anodized Aluminum and Painted Aluminum panels.
Panels are made from recycled metal and are recyclable. The company’s projects include a market station, a library, a health facility, an ironworks building, a residential development and an electronics company’s facility. Dri-Design publishes technical files for its panel systems, including BIM wall files and an installation video.
In the library, the Dri-Design manufacturer record covers 21 products. They are grouped by collection and by material: aluminum, steel and zinc. Each product record lists panel configuration, material and facade design details for the individual system. The AR-C name replaced the name Dri-Design Collection, and the company states that the performance and expertise behind the collection are unchanged. Featured projects are shown on the company website, which also lets visitors refine them by industry. The company describes its offering as architectural metal wall systems.
