Dri-Design EN-V WS Series

Dri-Design EN-V WS Series is the weathering steel series of the EN-V collection, alongside the A80, A50, G, Z and VS series. The series merges the EN-V optimization concept with a weathering steel substrate and focuses on 15 sizes. The panels are Type 4 weathering steel and are applied as a commercial rainscreen. The exposed surface is the steel itself, which develops a weathered appearance with exposure.

Weathering steel may stain sidewalks and other building materials.

WS is made in 15 panel sizes. The order form lists widths and heights between 16 and 120 inches. Flat panel dimensions are centerline to centerline.

The series has a 1/2-inch horizontal joint and a 5/8-inch vertical joint, listed as the standard panel joints. Layout choices on the order form are horizontal panel stacked, 1/4 vertical joint stagger, 1/2 vertical joint stagger and 1/2 horizontal joint stagger. Reveal options are staggered or aligned.

WS trim is formed sheet. The 24-gauge trim items are a 10-foot large J channel trim and a 10-foot corner trim. A 48 inch by 120 inch flat sheet in 24 gauge is also offered.

An order for WS panels is not put into production until the EN-V order form has been filled out in its entirety. Quantities and sizes on the signed proposal and terms of sale must correspond with the form. Shipping is by LTL freight or dedicated box truck.

Among the six EN-V series, WS is the weathering steel option. A80 is 0.080-inch aluminum in 21 sizes, A50 is 0.050-inch aluminum, G is 22-gauge Galvalume steel in 10 sizes, Z is 1.0 mm zinc in 9 sizes and VS is 0.080-inch vertical aluminum in 6 sizes. WS has 15 sizes, the largest set after A80.

Dri-Design also makes custom weathering steel panels in 16 and 18 gauge, with a maximum panel depth of 3 inches in steel.
