Revision context

Document record

The file is a 12-page product data sheet for Oakridge laminated shingles, printed in English and Spanish. The cover shows the Brownwood color. The remaining pages cover the shingle construction, warranties, algae resistance, color options and the color disclaimer, with Spanish text running alongside the English on most pages.

One page states that Owens Corning Roofing was named America’s Most Recommended Roofing by the Women’s Choice Award. The construction page describes a full double layer in the nailing zone, which the sheet says gives greater integrity and better holding power than shingles with single-layer nail zones. It also describes the warm colors as a step up from traditional three-tab shingles.

The warranties listed are a Limited Lifetime Warranty for as long as the owner keeps the home, a 110/130 mph wind resistance limited warranty, and a StreakGuard algae resistance limited warranty of 25 years. The sheet notes that copper-lined granules, developed by 3M, are blended into the colors to help resist blue-green algae growth.

The color pages list Onyx Black, Teak, Driftwood, Estate Gray, Brownwood and Desert Tan. The color disclaimer says that printed colors differ from installed shingles because of printing variation, and recommends requesting an actual shingle sample and viewing an installed roof.
