TruDefinition Duration STORM

TruDefinition Duration STORM is a laminated asphalt shingle in the Duration range from Owens Corning, made for steep-slope roofs in the United States. It appears in the Owens Corning shingle specification as TruDefinition Duration STORM Impact Resistant (Algae Resistant) Shingles. It belongs to the asphalt shingle roofing family.

The shingle includes SureNail Technology, a woven fabric reinforcing strip in the nailing zone on the top surface. It also includes WeatherGuard Technology, an integrated polymeric backing material on the bottom surface.

STORM is entry L under asphalt shingles in section 07 31 13.13, Fiberglass-Based Asphalt Shingles and Accessories, and sits directly before Duration FLEX. It is the Duration variant that adds WeatherGuard Technology to the SureNail strip.
