The file is a two-page product data sheet for the PAC-4000 8 mm composite wall panel from Petersen Aluminum Corporation, covering the PAC-4000 RV and DRV products. The panel laminates a prefinished aluminum face of .024 inch minimum to a thermoset phenolic resin core of .276 inch (7 mm), with a primed aluminum backer of .010 inch. The file lists two attachment methods for this thickness: the Rout and Return System (RR) with formed pans and attachment extrusions, and the RainScreen System (RS), which uses dry joints. Nominal thickness is 1/4 inch (8 mm), and the table gives a flame spread of Class A under ASTM E84, peel strength of 34.5 lb-in/lb under ASTM D1781, tensile yield of 7.34E+3 lb/ft width under ASTM E72, a thermal expansion coefficient of 1.11E-5 in/in/F under ASTM D1237, and an ignition temperature of 900 F under ASTM D1929.
Material tolerances are thickness plus or minus 1/32 inch, length and width plus 0 and minus 1/16 inch, and squareness of 1/64 inch per lineal foot. Finishes are Kynar 500 coil-coated as standard, or spray-applied for custom smooth panels. The file prints a standard warranty of 10 years for the panel and 20 years for the Kynar 500 finish. Sizes are 48 or 60 inches wide in 96, 120 and 144 inch lengths, and cut-to-size panels are available up to 60 by 144 inches. The printed footer date is 9/24.
