Document record
The file is a two-page fabrication training checklist for PAC-4000 metal composite material, issued by Citadel Architectural Products. It lists fabrication guidelines in sections for receiving and storage, finish directionality, panel cutting, panel routing, panel bending, panel curving, attaching extrusions, pop rivets, corner reinforcement, stiffeners and sealant. Cutting is covered for a table saw with a 10-inch carbide blade and for a CNC bit at 18,000 RPM and 315 inches per minute. Routing blade and bit details, feed rates and a V-groove pattern are listed for table saw, CNC and hand-held router use.
Bending entries give the bend line 1-1/32 inch from the panel edge, 2 inches added to the face dimension for flat panel size, and a temperature above 70 F to prevent crazing. Curving has a minimum radius of 6 inches at 90 degrees and 12 inches at 180 degrees. The RR and RS system details cover return legs, weep holes of 1/4 by 3/4 inch, rivet spacing of no more than 16 inches, and stiffeners for panels exceeding 3 feet in both directions. The last page is a signature block for a fabricator representative and a training coordinator.
