The file is a two-page product data sheet for PAC-4000 Zinc, a composite wall panel from Petersen Aluminum Corporation covering the PAC-4000 RV and DRV products. The panel laminates a zinc skin to a thermoset phenolic resin core, with a second aluminum skin as the backer. The composition table lists zinc at .027 inch minimum (39.25 inches wide) or quartz-zinc at .031 inch (48 inches wide), a core of .105 inch (2.67 mm) and a primed aluminum backer of .010 inch. The file notes that 4mm is the most common thickness, with 3mm and 6mm also available. The three attachment methods listed are the Reveal System (RV), the Rout and Return System (RR) and the RainScreen System (RS), which uses reveals from 1/2 inch to 12 inches.
The zinc panel weighs 2.4 lbs/ft2 (11.71 kg/m2). The table gives flame spread as Class A under ASTM E84, peel strength of 34.5 lb-in/lb under ASTM D1781, stiffness, bending moment and tensile values under ASTM E72, a thermal expansion coefficient of 1.11E-5 in/in/F under ASTM D1237, and an ignition temperature of 900 F under ASTM D1929. Material tolerances are thickness plus or minus 1/32 inch, length and width plus 0 and minus 1/16 inch, and squareness of 1/64 inch per lineal foot. Panels are limited to slopes not exceeding 25 degrees from vertical and are not eligible as structural elements. The footer prints 9/24.
