Straight Barrel Mission 16

Straight Barrel Mission 16 is the 16 inch member of the Straight Barrel Mission range from Ludowici Roof Tile, part of the Legacy Collection. Its pans and covers have a smooth clay surface and follow the old European pan and cover roof tiles. The same profile is also made at 18 3/8 inches and 14 1/4 inches.

A square takes 192 pieces, which spreads color more widely across a color blended roof. The tiles can be laid in straight rows or staggered, and the profile is one of the barrel clay tile roof systems in the line.

Minimum slope for the 16 inch tile is 5:12, and its minimum headlap is 3 inches. The 16 inch length tile installs under manual LRT-435; the Spanish edition is LRT-435S.

With the laid-tight method, the 16 inch tile takes short course pieces as shorter cap tiles in the first row and as pans in the last row at the ridge.

The 16 inch tile is smooth at base. Custom textures available for it are battered butts, brushed butts, fine machine scoring, hand roughed, hand scraped, hand slushed, heavy machine scoring, medium machine scoring, top sand and weathered. The Ludowici color program applies in full to the 16 inch tile, covering standard and custom colors, mists, blends and terra cotta glazes.
