Attachment

The CS-660 uses concealed fasteners and a common-lock joint. Its two attachment clip options are the CSC-1 and the CSC-3. Clips are configured to hold the panel flush to the substrate or at least 1/2 inch away from it.

Gauges and sheet

The CS-660 and the CS-660E can be ordered in 0.024 inch (24 gage, 0.60 mm) thickness, in addition to 22, 20 and 18 gage. The face sheet is coil-coated to ASTM A 755/A 755M. Formed flashing and trim match the material, thickness and color of the panel face sheet.

Installation and accessories

The CS-660 is installed horizontally or vertically in new construction and retrofit. Wall panel accessories named for the series include trim, copings, fascia, parapet caps, soffits, sills, inside and outside corners and miscellaneous flashings. A complete water-resistant barrier is recommended behind horizontal panels.

Design basis

The CS-660 data follow Allowable Stress Design (ASD) load span tables, with section 2.4.1 of ASCE 7-10 giving the ASD combinations for LRFD loads. The panel is part of 2012 MasterFormat Section 07 42 13.19. It is available in over 60 standard colors plus custom colors. Its 7/8 inch panel height matches the other three Concept Series profiles.
