Overview
Swisspearl Patina Structure NXT is a through-colored fiber cement board whose face carries regular, subtle linear grooves. The grooves form a refined, natural rhythm, and grazing light casts fine shadows across the texture.
It is the grooved member of the Patina NXT range, alongside Patina Original NXT and Patina Rough NXT. The board is sold for external and internal wall and ceiling coverings and is used as an outer rainscreen layer over a substructure and a backing wall. Its technical data is issued as version 12/25 under the AC 90 / ASTM 1185 / EN 12467 heading.
Surface and color
The surface treatment is linear surface structuring. Groove direction and the alignment of grooves across adjacent boards are the visible features of the face.
Differences in color shade, both within the product and from product to product, are part of the production process. Color variation is measured on the production line with the CIELAB model, where only lightness ΔL is monitored, at ΔE = ± 2.5 (ΔL -2.5 / +2.5). Color resistance to UVA over 3000 hours is ΔE 2.7. The color range carries a note that restrictions may apply.

Fire and impact performance
Under EN 13501-1 the board is classed A2-s1, d0. ASTM E84 is listed as Class A (does not ignite), and NFPA 285 is listed as passed. Behavior of materials at 750 °C under ASTM E136 is listed as approved.
Impact testing under EAD 090062-01-0404 covers hard-body impacts of 1, 3 and 10 joules and soft-body impacts of 10, 60, 300 and 400 joules. The 8 mm board is classed in impact end-use Category II-a, and a note says the installation principles determine the classification.
Certifications and emissions
Certifications are ISO 9001:2015 quality management, ISO 14001:2015 environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety certification. The board is listed under M1 classification for VOC emission (EN 16516:2017 + A1:2020) and under REACH (EC) No. 1907/2006.
A Declaration of Performance with CE marking is issued under European Regulation No. 305/2011.
