X-Seal Expandable Foam Tape

X-Seal is a pre-compressed, self-expanding PUR foam impregnated with a modified acrylic, flame retardant emulsion. It comes compressed at just 1/4 inch on an easy-to-handle roll with a protective release paper. The base foam is black and other colors are available.

The tape fills gaps of any shape in metal buildings, doors and windows, concrete, wood and more. It fits most roof panels, including irregular hips and valleys, and it is used for sealing joints and seams when restoring and repairing metal roofs. It resists bugs and vermin, holds its seal in heat and cold, and does not leach out or stain.

1. Cut the desired length of X-Seal.
2. Place X-Seal into the gap opening, even one with irregular hips and valleys, and remove the protective release paper.
3. X-Seal slowly expands up to 1 inch to completely fill and seal the gap.
