Overview
Swisspearl Patina Inline NXT is a fiber cement façade board with milled linear grooves that create a three-dimensional effect. The face is made of raised and recessed areas, and the defined lines interact with natural light and changing viewing angles.
Horizontal and vertical boards can be combined, which makes the light and shadow effect more dynamic. Over time the board develops a natural patina as the fiber cement ages. It is sold for external and internal wall and ceiling coverings and for rainscreen façades. The sheet is dated 8/26 and is headed AC 90 / ASTM 1185 / EN 12467.
Milled surface and color
Inline NXT has its own data sheet rather than sharing one with the other Patina boards. The surface treatment is milling.
Color shade deviations within the product and from product to product are part of production. Color variation is measured on the production line with the CIELAB model, with lightness ΔL at -2.5 / +2.5, and the Patina NXT value is ΔE = ± 2.5. Color resistance to UVA over 3000 hours is ΔE 2.7.
