Geocel 4350 Hybrid Metal Roofing and Siding Construction Sealant
Geocel 4350 is a chemically curing hybrid sealant in a gun-grade, non-sag consistency. It adheres to coated steel, aluminum, wood, glass, tile, brick, asphalt shingles, EPDM, fiber cement board, skylights, primed TPO and primed PVC. It is UV resistant, applies in damp or dry conditions and is paintable with latex-based paints.
It seals metal roofing and siding laps, seams, fasteners, joints and valleys, roof penetrations, gutters and trim. It also serves in metal roof restoration and repair work such as sealing fasteners and pipe flashings. It is used inside and outside on most non-traffic-bearing joints.

Application
- Joint surfaces must be dry, clean and free of all contamination.
- Wipe glass, metal and other non-porous surfaces clean with solvent so they are free of any coatings.
- Sand blast or mechanically abrade precast panels that used form-release agents other than polyethylene film, then blow or brush them free of dust.
- Keep joint depth to no more than 3/8 in. Use an open cell backer rod to control joint depth.
- Install bond breaker tape in shallow joints to prevent three-point contact.
- Trim the nozzle to between 1/4 in and 3/8 in and puncture the inner foil liner.
- Place the cartridge in a conventional caulking gun and apply with steady pressure, filling the joint completely.
- Tool into seams and cracks immediately after application.
- Remove uncured sealant from the gun and tools by scraping or with solvents. Cured material is removed by cutting with sharp tools or sandpapering.
