Ultra 1000 Silicone Sealant

Ultra 1000 is a Class 35, 100% silicone sealant made from oxime-cured polysiloxanes. It meets or exceeds ASTM C920 and TT-S-001543A. The joint sealant designation is Type S, Grade NS, Class 35, Use NT, M, G, A, O. It adheres to Kynar and Galvalume coated metals, and it is mildew resistant.

The sealant is used on flashing, trim, metal sheeting, downspouts, gutters and roof tile, and it adheres to copper. It also bonds to steel, aluminum, brick, concrete, PVC and glass. It suits sealing and repair work on metal roof restoration and repair, where joints move with temperature. Class 35 sealant is formulated to withstand more joint movement than ordinary Class 25 sealants.

• Service temperature: -40°F to 350°F
• Application temperature: 0°F to +120°F; guns down to 0°F
• Exterior weathering: excellent
• Water resistance: good; not for submersion or use below the waterline
• Freeze thaw stable; store at 40°F to 80°F
• Shelf life: use within 12 months from the manufacturer's date
• Cannot be painted
• Clean tools with toluene or mineral spirits before the sealant dries; after setting, cut or scrape excess sealant away
