Overview

Triangle Fastener Corporation

Triangle Fastener Corporation (TFC) has supplied the commercial construction industry with standard and specialty fasteners, tools, sealants and accessories since 1977, along with hard-to-find items for critical applications. Its corporate office is at 1925 Preble Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company runs 32 locations, 3 distribution centers and 9 in-house paint facilities, where screws are painted to match panel colors, and its TFC Tech Center provides engineering services and custom-designed fasteners for specific applications.

TFC has three Texas branches: San Antonio at 12746 O’Connor Road, San Antonio, TX 78233 (830.410.6000); Dallas at 2801 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062; and Houston at 5210 Brittmoore Road, Houston, TX 77041.

The company’s own fastener lines cover metal roof and wall construction from the frame up. BLAZER self-drilling screws drill and tap steel in one operation, with hex washer, zinc cap, stainless cap and security heads, 410 stainless and bi-metal stainless versions, long lengths for insulated panels, and screws for steel decking. PANEL-TITE screws fasten metal panels to wood and post-frame construction. CONCEALOR pancake head screws attach standing seam clips to metal or wood. DEKFAST roofing screws, NOFUM plates and cap nails attach rigid insulation and base sheets to steel, wood and concrete roof decks. Self-tapping sheeting screws and FABLOK, GROMMET-SEAL and standard blind rivets complete the fastener range.

For sealing and weatherproofing, TFC supplies APS500 advanced polymer sealant, ULTRA 1000 silicone sealant, non-skinning tube butyl and butyl tape seal, together with PIPE-MASTER pipe flashings and CLOSE-TITE closures. Many of its screws are available with TRI-SEAL coating, rated at 1,000 hours of salt spray with no red rust, and TFC publishes FM, Miami-Dade and ICC-ES approval sheets for its fastener lines.
