CONCEALOR Burr Buster Pancake Head Screws
CONCEALOR Burr Buster screws are low profile pancake head screws made for oriented strand board (OSB). The Burr-Buster point compresses the OSB layers during penetration to minimize delamination. The saw cut thread cuts the OSB layers, which enhances tapping of the thread. Pending-patent point and thread technology is used.
The thread is a low-angle thread. It reduces over-driving and stripping and increases resistance to loosening. Ordinary metal-to-wood screws have steep angled threads that can be over-driven and can back out. The screw is carbon steel with a TRI-SEAL coating. CONCEALOR pancake head screws are specified in many standing seam metal roofing systems to attach clips to metal or wood. Screws are bagged, 250 pieces per bag.
