Carbon Steel Self-Tapping Screws

Carbon steel self-tapping sheeting screws from Triangle Fastener Corporation. They tap their own threads, so the screw drives into thin steel or wood without a pilot hole in the sheet. The range covers Type A, Type AB and Type B points, a Type BP alignment point, and a #17-14 Type AB. They are used to fasten insulated metal panel roofs and walls and other sheeting to steel and wood.

Type A tapping range is up to 14ga steel and wood. Type AB taps up to 10ga steel and wood. Type B taps 14ga to 1/2 in. The #17-14 Type AB taps up to 10ga. The 1/4-14 Type BP is used for alignment into structure. Screwgun speed is 1,000 rpm maximum. Screws come with or without BOND-SEAL sealing washers, and with TRI-SEAL long life coating. Lengths reach 8 in across the full line.

• Sealing washers: BOND-SEAL, available with and without; oversize or special sealing washers available
• Coating: TRI-SEAL long life coating, over 1,000 hours salt spray resistance (ASTM B117)
• Paint: KALIDA-KOTE paint process to match a specific color
