DEKFAST #15 Roofing Screws and NOFUM Plates
The DEKFAST #15-13 DP1 is a drill point truss head roofing screw made of carbon steel. It fastens into wood, concrete or steel from 16 ga. to 22 ga. and suits retrofit base attachment in low-slope roof assemblies with insulation and membranes. It taps up to 1/2 in thick steel with a 1/4 in drill bit.
A black epoxy coating protects the screw. The coating meets or exceeds FM4470 corrosion standards and withstands 15 cycles of the Kesternich DIN 50018 SFW 2.0 test. The head is 0.095 to 0.105 in high and 0.425 to 0.440 in in diameter. The 3 in metal stress plate is formed from 26 gauge Galvalume steel and is used with the Phillips truss head fastener. Plates are used with virtually all types of insulation board used for roofing systems.
