Cap Nails

Cap nails fasten roofing felt, insulation and other roofing layers to the deck. The head is a flat 1 in cap that spreads the load over the layer being held. The line covers the regular round head, insulation round head, masonry round head, Plex-Cap plastic cap and square cap nail, used in low-slope roof assemblies with insulation and membranes.

The regular round head and insulation round head come in ring (annular grooved) or smooth shank and are made of hi-carbon steel. The insulation round head suits BUR applications and other work where thick insulation is attached to wood substrates. The masonry round head has a fluted shank. The Plex-Cap is made from high strength polymer plastic and has a ring shank. It fastens roofing felt, insulation, hose wraps and polyfilm.
