CONCEALOR ULP Pancake Head Screws

CONCEALOR ULP is an ultra low profile #10-9 gimlet point self-tapping screw with a pancake head. It fastens standing seam roof clips to wood. It also attaches clip-less nail hem metal roof panels. The sharp gimlet point pierces steel clips up to 24 gauge thick, and pierces up to 20 ga steel. The coarse thread pulls the fastener tight into the wood.

The head is 50% thinner than a standard pancake head, so the panel does not dimple. A special taper adds head strength and countersinks the head into the wood. The thread length is a minimum of 1 in, for full thread engagement. Carbon steel screws are C1022 with a TRI-SEAL long-life coating rated at 1,000 hours of salt spray. That coating can be used in treated and fire treated lumber. A 410 stainless steel version is passivated.
