EcoScreen range

The other EcoScreen profiles are Style-Rib, also with 36 inch coverage and ribs at 7.2 inches on center, MR3-36, with three evenly spaced ribs, and Econolap ¾ inch, a more pronounced corrugation.

EcoScreen BR5-36 shares the stainless steel and painted aluminum materials, the perforation options and the fabrication process of the other profiles in the group.

Materials

EcoScreen BR5-36 is made from 20-gauge stainless steel or 0.04 inch painted aluminum, using the fabrication process of the EcoScreen line.

Perforation patterns

EcoScreen BR5-36 has a staggered or a reversed perforation pattern, in a wide variety of options. The perforations in EcoScreen BR5-36 let air circulate and natural light pass through, and add security.

Applications and design basis

Walls built with EcoScreen BR5-36 include commercial and industrial walls, airport and transportation structures, convention centers, recreational buildings, manufacturing facilities, office buildings and equipment buildings. EcoScreen BR5-36 can be installed horizontally or vertically.

The non-perforated BR5-36 is a separate exposed fastener panel in the Metl-Span single-skin range.

EcoScreen BR5-36 is specified under MasterFormat 2012 Section 07 42 13.19. The load span table for EcoScreen BR5-36 is based on Allowable Stress Design (ASD), and for LRFD loads section 2.4.1 of ASCE 7-10 applies. EcoScreen BR5-36 stays in the Specialty group, apart from the exposed fastener panels with the same profile names.
