Overview
Capistrano is a high-profile, curved Spanish-tile concrete roof tile made by Eagle Roofing Products. It belongs to the manufacturer's range of concrete residential roof tile and is used on residential roofs. The profile has a high curved section that produces pronounced barrel shadow lines across the roof field.
Capistrano sits beside Malibu, Bel Air, Golden Eagle, Ponderosa, Sequoia and Tapered Slate in the manufacturer's concrete tile technical specifications. Within that group, Capistrano and Malibu are the two curved profiles, and Capistrano has the deeper curve.
Shape and style
Capistrano is a high barrel profile, also called an S-tile, and is semi-cylindrical in section. It is the tile shape most traditionally recognized as Spanish tile, and it is made to recreate that look.
The manufacturer pairs the profile with Spanish, Tuscan and Mediterranean architecture and with stucco exteriors, and also lists it for stone and brick siding. Its size guidance for the profile is homes larger than 2,500 square feet, with small structures also possible.
The profile is used on residential, commercial, military and institutional buildings across the United States.

The Boosted Capistrano accessory piece is a cap tile made only for the Capistrano profile. It measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches long, and each piece weighs approximately 4.8 pounds. Its colors are designed to complement the base tile.
