Metal-Era LLC is a manufacturer of perimeter edge metal for the commercial roofing industry. The company was founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin, in 1980 and supplies prefabricated edge metal systems for the building envelope, including fascia, coping and water control products. Its product families are sold under several brand names, among them Anchor-Tite, Perma-Tite, Creative Design, Seal-Tite and One Edge, with the One Edge line sold as Edge Systems One. The company also makes roof ventilation products under the Airflow Solutions name. Metal-Era and Hickman Edge Systems are both Carlisle companies.

Metal-Era was founded as a small manufacturing plant in Waukesha, Wisconsin, in 1980. By the late 1980s the business had moved into a 44,000-square-foot facility. It has since added new brands, including the Edge Systems One line, and expanded into ventilation with its Airflow Solutions products. Manufacturing, warehouse and administrative space has grown with the business, and the company now occupies more than 100,000 square feet.

Robotics have been part of the manufacturing process since 2008, through partnerships with ABB and IAS. Five robotic cells have been deployed in that time. The first robot automated spring clips, and later robots were added for notching, acute forming and clip finishing.

The company operates as Metal-Era LLC and is part of Carlisle, as is Hickman Edge Systems.
